Tryve and Kim Erickson once again pulled off an amazing Iditarod Re-start Party at their home on Long Lake. Many Rotarians, family and friends enjoyed the spring sunshine, a ton of beautiful fresh snow, lots of moose chili, chowder, and overflowing table of sweets and other great food. There was plenty of high-fiving the Iditarod mushers as they came by amid a cheering crowd.
Nancy Dodge had a shelter box tent set up and 4 brave YE students spent the night to earn pledge money for Shelter Box. The kids had a great time, and will have wonderful stories to tell they home clubs about a real Alaskan Experience.
