Board Meeting – all are welcome.  Tuesday Feb 13 at noon Wells Fargo on C and Northern lights – 2nd floor conference room

Akila is doing well at the Schulman house – she has her art work on display – and will be attending the Music of Disney concert.

Visit from Lindsay Knight – District 5010 Membership Chair – spoke about the importance of membership – Rotary’s numbers have remained flat – we all need to invite someone to lunch.

Celeste announced the Foundation Auction – set up help is needed for Thursday night 5:30 – 8 at the Hotel.

Debra had been in a meeting just before lunch where arrangements were finalizing on the next fund raiser.  It will be May 12 – at the home of the Wakefield's – mark your calendar - more details to follow.

Jules was offering a great deal, 3 for the price of 2 tickets for Moose Marble Madness  - April 29 – he ran out of tickets – but will bring more since he had a line of takers.

Bruce is forming a friendship exchange from Ontario (Canada not California) in May and would like all interested parties to contact him.

Dick plugged singing valentines – there are flyers and you can contact him.  He is also enrolled at UAA way to go new coed.

Lemar from Palmer club said its’s been Windy.  Lindsay said there was snow in Kodiak.

Ted had 5 sad bucks for missing the next three meeting.  They will be in South Africia.

Helena was happy to announce they had a record crowd at the Innovative Awards.  There are now 52 Patent fillings through the program.  She has worked very hard and produced  a great  brochure that she will give to all club members.

Our Speaker Sherrie Laurie the E.D. of the Downtown Hope Center got us all up to date on on the many programs the center offers.  She thanked us for bakery sheeter – the baking program has really taken off and with the addition of the new culinary arts program, the tilt skillet has allowed the program to provide meals for not only the facility guests, but also the new catering arm.

Debra Mason won split the pot.
