Sullivan Arena on Monday, May 14, 2018  was the site of South Anchorage High School Graduation.  The event was great, lots of excitement about what the future holds for about 300 students.  Akila was in the front row and got a great view of all the speakers and performances.  The Exchange students were given a certificate of completion, and a nice hard cover that a diploma would normally occupy.  Akila really liked the ceremony, but she is back in school to take finals until the last day May 23, also her birthday.  We all went out for a bite to eat Carl's Jr, Akila's choice - since her breakfast was a cup cake  from the Night at the Races (thanks Cathie Straub) and lunch at the Sullivan Arena was a piece of chocolate Cake.  We finished out the afternoon at Cold Stone Creamery and Thanks to Kevin Fimon and Dr Karen McCreary for treating us all to the best ice cream desert in Anchorage (my personal opinion)
