Youth Service

EarlyAct™: EarlyAct™ is a service club for elementary students at Shaull Elementary School in the Cumberland Valley School District which engages students in character-building activities and prepares them for leadership roles to identify and carry out projects which benefit their school, local and global communities.

RYLA Leader’s Conference: Funds the attendance of at least four juniors from Cumberland Valley High School and Cumberland Perry Vo-Tech to attend a week-long conference at Messiah College in June with 100 other students.

Youth Exchange
Youth Exchange offers the chance to promote world understanding and enrich the lives of qualified young people by sending selected high school-aged youth abroad to study and gain insights into different cultures.  Exchange students stay with three host families during their visit.  Selections are made based on a written application and a personal interview. The sending District arranges orientation for exchangees and parents.
