COVID-19 Update:

Refer to our website Home Page or our Facebook Page for up to date information.

The Trash and Treasure Market is operated by the Rotary Club of Belconnen and is held each Sunday from 7am to 12 noon at the Jamison Centre carpark in Macquarie, except when Christmas Day coincides with a Sunday.

The carpark is leased for the duration of each market from the ACT Government which stipulates a range of goods that may not be sold at the market. Please refer to the separate listing of Prohibited Items on this website.

As well as providing a social service to the community, the market is also the major source of fund raising for the Rotary Club of Belconnen, and for a number of other Rotary Clubs which are engaged to assist on a sub-contract basis.

The market has been operating continually since 1974 at the Jamison Centre shopping precinct and has raised in excess of $7 million. This has enabled the Club to generously support many local, national and international community service projects. Our most recent major project was an extension to the Rotary Cottage at Calvary Hospital which the Club originally financed in the mid-1990's.

Please also refer to the Becoming a Stallholder section of this website.

Market patrons are encouraged to make a donation at one of the three entry points to the market area.

Please note that dogs may not be brought into the market area.

Stallholders and visitors enter the market site at their own risk.
