May marked the 100-year anniversary of the Rotary Club of Mount Holly. A Centennial Dinner was held at the Deerwood County Club on May 22 with 75 members and guest attending. It was a great celebration of 100 years of community service. Recognized during the dinner were members having served 60, 50, and 40 years to our club. Our longest serving members, Barry Parker, Jack McDonnel, and Dick Alimo spoke at the event. Assemblymen Brandon Umba and Burlington County Commissioner Director Dan Oconnel presented Proclamations congratulations to the club for years of service to Mount Holly, our nation and the world. It was a wonderful evening; we are looking forward to the bicentennial.
