Soccer without Boarders

Maddy Boston grew up in Mill Valley and graduated with her Bachelor's in Political Science/African Studies from Middlebuy College in 2013, where she also played Varsity soccer for four years. Maddy’s interest in Sports Based Youth Development across cultures led her to work abroad at several international organizations, including Moving the Goalpost (Kenya), and SALT Academy (Cambodia) before starting work with Soccer Without Borders in 2016. She brings to the SWB team a life-long passion for soccer, and a growing understanding of how gender, multiculturalism, and sport intersect. Maddy will be sharing how soccer can be used as a powerful tool for gender equality and inclusion in refugee and immigrant communities.
