Mill Valley author Arthur Drooker, a highly rated speaker will speak to us on April 13th. His presentation is entitled "Conventional Wisdom" which is also the title of his latest book--which is a chronicle of his travel to quirky conventions all over the US. Over a three year period, he photographer these unusual gatherings as expressions of community, culture and connection For the conventioneers, these gatherings are more like family reunions where they freely share their passions, even obsessions, without fear, apology, or judgment.
