Want to Share Your Business with the Rotary Club of Pacifica?

Rotary International was founded in 1905 in Chicago by Paul Harris, who sought to bring people from all professions together for camaraderie and public service.  Rotary ultimately spread throughout the world - now with 1.2 million members.  In 1962, the Rotary Club of Pacifica was established.  The club since then has been very active in the community, most recently distributing dictionaries to all third-graders in Pacifica for the 8th consecutive year, painting the Sanchez Library, improving the Grace McCarthy Outlook and building the "Rotary Plaza" at Sanchez Art Center with new landscaping, providing scholarship counseling to students, facilitating International Youth Exchange, among many other local and international projects.  Going back to the roots of the club, with Paul Harris, club members participate in networking events called, "Rotary Means Business".   Pacifica Rotary has recently started a new outreach project whereby Pacifica businesses may have the podium for five minutes to introduce themselves and their businesses to the club.  So far, Beach Monkey Cafe and Urban Succulent have visited and received a taste of Rotary and free breakfast at the weekly meeting held at 7:15 on Tuesday at Sharp Park Restaurant.  The "Visit Pacifica Rotary" program has been a success for these businesses, resulting in new business.  Next up  the Yonder Shop will be coming.  Interested businesses may contact Victor Spano at 650-219-8038 for information and/or to be scheduled.
