Corte Madera Emergency Preparation Work in Place

The Corte Madera Town Council honored residents John Howard and Lee Howard as the town's "Citizens of the Year."

The Howards are part of the Mariner Cove Neighborhood Association, members of the Twin Cities Disaster Committee and have organized town events such as crab feeds and casino nights.

Lee Howard has worked as part of their neighborhood association to educate residents about earthquake and disaster preparedness.

John Howard has participated in emergency drills and written a manual on emergency preparedness and training. He is also president of the Lions Club of Corte Madera.
