Neuroscience of Human Relationships

Professor Meg Jordan PhD, RN, CWP, is a woman who has motivated millions to live healthier, more fulfilling lives. Author, speaker, international health journalist, registered nurse and a clinical medical anthropologist, Meg is one of the most recognized names in health and wellness reporting. She is Chair of a growing department at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco that offers an M.A. in Integrative Health Studies, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Concentration in Somatic Psychology, and a PhD in Human Sexuality.

If anthropology is the study of culture’s impact on humanity, then medical anthropology is the study of how cultural views of health and disease, illness and recovery vary among people all over the world.

Dr. Meg will be speaking to us on the neuroscience of human relationships — four areas of your brain which regulate how well your social relationships are doing.
