Whistlestop

Joe O’Hehir was hired by the Whistlestop board in October of 2008. He is a seasoned executive with over thirty years of management experience. Since 1992, Joe has been providing executive leadership to nonprofit organizations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2006, Joe received the Center for Nonprofit Leadership’s prestigious “Heart of Marin” award for excellence in board leadership.

Joe’s work history includes being part of the founding senior management team for seven start-up organizations. His efforts have resulted in two successful IPOs, a management-led leveraged buyout, and a corporate turn-around. California Medicine Magazine identified him as one of the leading health care entrepreneurs in its 1998 “Who’s Who” list.
