Christine Paquette is Executive Director for St. Vincent de Paul Society of Marin, where she has held management positions for the past 16 years. Christine is a member of Marin’s Homeless Policy Steering Committee and serves on the board of the Marin Interagency Disaster Coalition and the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership. In 2020, Christine received the Heart of Marin “Excellence in Leadership Award” for her outstanding work in improving the countywide system of care to utilize a Housing First and client-centered approach to ending homelessness. She has also served on the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s National Development Board. Christine is a Marin County native and graduate of Redwood High School and U.C. Berkeley. |

Our current monthly in person service project is ExtraFood; the 3rd Sunday of the month, at the Marin Civic Center Farmer's Market in San Rafael, CA. Together we will collect Easter plus food from farmers to be donated to various community groups in need.
Please arrive around 12:45-1:00 on Sunday afternoon at the “big tree” near at the corner of Judge Haley/Peter Behr Road (near the East entrance of the market). We usually end by 2-2:30 and then 3 volunteers will deliver the food in their vehicles. Please bring extra cardboard boxes - see local grocery store, markets, recycle bin.
