The Program...
Magic of the Coastside - Event Planning
This is where we will begin the planning for the event - OR - deciding if we need to skip the event for my year if there isn't enough interest in volunteering to plan it. We will need at least 10 people (ideally more) to volunteer to plan the event to make it work. Lots of ideas were discussed last Magic meeting as to what might be included for the event, so here is a rough idea of some possible things that will need volunteers to work on...none are set in stone of course until final decisions are made at this meeting as to what the event includes...
- Budget management and sponsorship procurement
- Venue procurement and decorating (discussed spot was the HMB Yacht Club)
- Sandcastle contest planning and deployment
- Foodie cook off planning and deployment
- BBQ dinner with Service Above Self awards, planning and deployment
- If there is an auction, planning, management and deployment
