No Rotary Meeting January 15, 2018“Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” ― Martin Luther King Jr. For more quotes, from Dr. King, go to: https://www.goodreads.com/author/quotes/23924.Martin_Luther_King_Jr_ If you are interested in attending a meeting or finding out more abut Rotary, email jrotary@bellsouth.net |

January 8 meetingsHappy New Year Rotarians! We closed out 2017 on a high note with wonderful service projects - ringing the Salvation Army bell, distributing gifts and singing carols at area nursing homes, ad hosting a children's party at Canopy Children's Services (formerly Mississippi Children's Home Services). We also generously showed our appreciation to the faithful luncheon wait staff and had a board meeting ... in addition to our regular Monday meetings! We are starting out the new year this Monday with our own Amanda Fontaine who will be challenging us to Create Rotary Connections Come hear our District 6820 Membership chair and past District Governor share her enthusiasm for all things Rotary. This month's meeting schedule is: January 15 - No meeting - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day January 22 - Jack Moriarity, MD, NewSouth NeuroSpine January 29 - John Evans, owner, Lemuria Books Be thinking of who you want to invite to one of these meetings. We will see you Monday! |
