MEETINGS – The Rotary Club of Jackson meets every Monday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Sparkman Building at the Mississippi Agriculture Museum on Lakeland Drive.  Parking is free.  Speakers and holidays are noted on the Home page of the Rotary Club website at www.rotaryclubofjackson.org.  Make-up meetings can be counted for attendance by visiting other clubs in the area or worldwide and online at www.myrotary.org. You will be assigned a username and password to log in.  At least 50% attendance is encouraged.  Makeups are easy to do.  
 
FINANCIAL - Members of the Rotary Club of Jackson can expect the following financial obligations. Billing is quarterly (or by special request, semi-annually or annually).  The initial joining fee is $100.00.  Quarterly dues of $355.00 include $100.00 for membership dues, $180.00 for meals, and tax-deductible donations of $50 to our Scholarship Program and $25 to the Rotary Foundation. Payment is due by the 15th of the first month in the quarter and may be paid by check or credit card online.   You will need your username and password to log in.
 
Young Professionals (under 35 years of age) pay $75.00 for dues and $180.00 for meals per quarter.  They are exempt from the donations.
 
ROTARY FOUNDATION - Rotary International has a Foundation that helps people worldwide.  Members of The Rotary Club of Jackson are expected to contribute to the Rotary Foundation.  The minimum is $100.00 per year. Many individual members of the Rotary Club of Jackson contribute $1,000.00 per year.
 
PROJECTS - Rotary’s motto is “Service above Self.”   The Rotary Club of Jackson holds several community projects each year, and members are expected to give their time and participate in these projects either financially or in person. 
 
COMMITTEES / PROJECTS - Members of The Rotary Club of Jackson are expected to serve on two or more of the several committees.  There is something for everyone, from leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the meeting to ringing the bell for The Salvation Army. There is always an opportunity for involvement.
