White Elephant Gift Exchange is Dec. 21!! On this fabulous, best, most fun meeting of the year, we get to give each other gifts.  However, these gifts are typically not the kind of gift you actually want....  Here's your assignment:

 

1. Attend the meeting on Dec. 21

2. Bring a present - nicely wrapped - make it look enticing

3. The present should not be expensive, but is one that is funny, odd, weird, worthless, worth something at one time but now is obsolete, or could be a re-gift of a perfectly fine gift that you just don't want to keep!

4. Nonchalantly place your gift under the tree at our meeting and wait for the melee to ensue!

We successfully wrapped up (see what I did there?) another year of wrapping presents for our adopted families from Neighbors Inc.  Thanks to everyone who helped - we had a great turn out and there was very little fighting over scissors and tape.  Good job!

We are planning ahead this year for our Charter Night!  Our Club's Birthday is in February and we always try to have one entire Club event to mark the anniversary of our birth!  This year, we are going to pack food for Harvest Pack at Bad Weather brewery on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 (yes, we checked the schedule and this DOES NOT conflict with a MN Wild game).  There will be food, beverages and packing of meals for those in need.  We are thinking 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. or so, but details will be flushed out so watch the newsletter.  You can bring your significant others to this event too (date night!). Save the date!!  We hope everyone can attend!
