Last week we highlighted Silent Auction items for Moonstruck and to give you a brief re-cap, we need you to solicit donations for the silent auction.  Here are just some of the items we have so far:

Give your donations, along with a description to William by Sept. 7. It will be an online auction again this year.

 

Now, what we need you to focus on is booze.  1. We need everyone to bring in a bottle of wine and a 6-pack of craft beer and give it to Bob.  2. Sell your raffle tickets. 

 

It's an easy sales pitch -

 

"Hi, I'm selling beer and wine raffle tickets for my Rotary Club to help feed starving people in our area.  They are only $10 each and you can win enough beer or wine to be set for a year.  How many of each would you like to buy?"

Ruffo, our on-site manager at St. Matt's sent this message to all Loaves & Fishes Volunteers and asks them to take a quick survey:

 

We recently had speakers from Second Stork, a non-profit that collects donations for newborns and gives them to hospitals to distribute to new mothers who need them.  They made a pitch for delivery drivers and I recently had the privilege of making a delivery to the New Richmond hospital.  What a great blessing all the way around!
