Last week at our regular meeting, we held virtual Club Committee meetings, and while some ended up in the wrong virtual rooms and couldn't find their way around the virtual world to get back to the right virtual room, it was a fun time! Here's a quick re-cap of what the Committees decided to focus on in the foreseeable future: - Membership Committee: We need to have a better social media footprint to attract new members. Better newsletter, FB, articles, etc. We have a plan and some of you may be tapped on the shoulder so you might want to avoid eye contact with me
- Community Service: We will keep doing L&F and re-start Ethics Day in the coming year. We want to give the Jr/Sr High Schoolers a good swift kick in the ethics pants
- Foundation/Giving: We will do our Rotary Roses fundraiser this spring! Delivery date is April 21st (ish). Susan is going to chair it.
Also, David Miller has agreed to be President-Elect, which means he takes over the Presidency on July 1, 2021! Thanks David! Since he was a felony prosecutor, I'm fairly confident he can take on any challenge that comes our way! |
