Ingredients:

1.  One can crushed pineapple

2.  One can cherry pie filling

3.  One stick of butter

4.  One package of pecan halves

5.  One box of generic yellow cake mix (do not use “moist” cake mix type)

Directions:

Spray a 9x13 (or similar) glass baking dish with Pam or coat with butter

Pour out crushed pineapple, juice and all, and spread evenly

Put cherry pie filling on top of pineapple and spread evenly

Pour dry cake mix on top of cherry filling and spread evenly

Cut stick of butter into even pats and place evenly across top of dry cake mix

Spread pecan halves across top of butter

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

Top with whip cream or ice cream.
