Thanks so much to those who have found (or Rotarians who are) hole sponsors so far! Remember that there are several sponsorship options:
Platinum = $2,000 (name on event banner, 4-some for golf & dinner)
Gold = $1,000 (name in printed materials, 2 tickets to dinner)
Silver = $500 (name in printed materials)
Hole = $200 (name on hole sign)
If you're looking for tips on how to secure a sponsor, I usually start the conversation at the top of the sponsorship list. Then I work my way down the levels and by the time I get to "hole sponsor" for only $200, I have worn them down and they will say yes just to get me to stop asking! Usually the answer sounds something like "Fine!" but that's ok. A Yes is a Yes!
I realize you can see the list in the left column but just to make sure you really see the events that are coming up...
New Member Orientation - Wednesday, August 27 at Rayna's house. (click on "Rayna's house" for more details) There will be appetizers, beverages, new and old Rotarians. The entire Club is invited! (and you can even bring your significant other/spouse/relative if they want to hang out with us too) We will learn a few Rotary-type things and then just get to know each other! No pressure, not boring, lots of laughter. A Sign up sheet will be circulated (or a show of hands) at an upcoming meeting. If you are disoriented, this is a good time to get oriented!
