We welcomed 3 of our 5 new members at this week's meeting. Say hello to Brian McDougall, Jeff Hvass and Mark McNeill! We are so happy that they have decided to become our friends and we can't wait to officially welcome Greg and Connie too!
Please note that THIS week there are 2 Loaves & Fishes events (Sept. 29 and Oct. 1) so please plan accordingly!! We need cookers, servers and cleaner-uppers. Feel free to show up at 3:00, 4:30 or 5:30 to help with one of those tasks. You can come for some or all of the duties!
We had a Board meeting last week and here's what we did:
Discussed our donation policy, which we modified to require that donation requests should be made by members of the Club who are active through service or donations
Pushed forward the set up our Foundation
Set up a Ghost Tour of the MIA for Oct. 31 from noon - 1
Set aside $5,000 for Can Do Canines from proceeds of Moonstruck!
Reconciling Net Profit of Moonstruck - but early estimate is at least $20,000
