Our club members and friends served 250 meals last Thursday!  Once again we hit it out of the park.. Thanks club members and friends!

Wine & Beer raffle fundraiser going on now!  Raffle tickets are available from Bob Gullick or President Don at meetings now through October.  The tickets are $10 each.  Beer raffle winner gets a Wall of Beer (minimum of 30 six packs).  There are two winners for the wine raffle.  First Place:  30 bottles of wine.  Second Place:  10 bottles of wine.  Please bring wine and six packs of beer to any October meeting. The drawing will be on our November 9th meeting at the Copperfield restaurant.

Board members Alan Ruvelson and Valarie Namen are exploring new ways to attract people to our club.  They are wondering if there is someone who has experience with NextDoor.  If it's you, please contact Alan or Valarie.

Here's some of the things we talked about:

1 - Community Service - Mark Landy has us down for Loaves & Fishes for October 6th and highway clean up on October 15. We are going to do another MatterBox on October 26th and the board approved buying 5 more kits.

2 - Membership recruitment:  Alan Ruvelson and Valarie Namen met with Katie Lowe.  Looking to South Robert Business Association for members.  The three are talking about using social media like the NextDoor web site. 

5 -Fundraising – Bob Gullick will get beer & wine raffle tickets at the end of this week and will pass out on September 26^th meeting. Consider a goal of selling 15 tickets of beer and 15 tickets of wine.
