We have several upcoming events so pay attention: - Tues., Oct. 31 - Loaves & Fishes. Click on the link on the Events Calendar to get the details, but the summary is that we need people there by 3:30 to help prepare the meal, people there by 4:30 to help serve the meal and people there at 5:30 to help clean up after the meal. To the 19 of you who helped on the 5th - THANK YOU!! Please come back! I know it's Halloween, but you can still be home before the trick or treaters really get started.
- Wed., Nov. 1 - The District Governor is Coming. The District Governor will be our speaker at our meeting on Wed., Nov. 1. It's quite an event and an honor so please plan on attending and please, for once, be on your best behavior. Please? A short Board meeting will follow the regular meeting to meet and greet the District Governor.
- Sat., Nov. 18 - Adopt a Highway Clean Up - our turn to clean up a portion of the world in which we live and mess up. Meet at 8:30 a.m. at Bethel Baptist and Marv will have the fashionable vests for you to wear, the trash bags and maybe even work gloves. You can bring your own tong-like-grabber things to pick up the stuff from the ditches.
- No Board meeting in December! We will take a month off... We will resume our regular Board meetings in January at a place TBD.
