Once you expand your mind or your heart-it can never go back to the way it was.......
I love Rotary for the people we meet and the inspiration they bring to us each and every Wednesday with the good they are doing. Carrie Miller and Mile in My Shoes Foundation
are doing really great things.
They help those who have struggled with homelessness, incarceration and show them how to set goals(running goals), they are given a mentor and can become a mentor and they find out through running that life is worth living well.
Their Mission: We run together to transform lives, ourselves, one another and our community.
Check out their up and coming race: "Downtown Run Around" June 7th.
Volunteers needed. Seriously, check them out and see if you can't help in some way. They are transforming lives beyond what anyone could have expected or saw coming.

Rotarian Susan Hommes attended scholarship night at Two Rivers HS
These beautiful and bright young ladies are heading to college with a little more change in their pockets!
They were the recipients of Two Rivers Academic Award!
Elizabeth Butler and Elise Ludwig earned this opportunity! They are college bound to Gustavus and Mankato!

Super Easy Fundraising Event - Prior Lake Music Fest.
Put July 11th or 12th on your calendars.  We have a chance to make quick club monies by working 4 hour shifts on the 11th or 12th.  Plus, whoever works can get into the other night free!  See headliners below.  For more performing artists check out: https://www.lakefrontmusicfest.com/lineup.html.  Please bring friends and family!  Our club could earn up to $30.00 per hour worked.  Let David Miller know if you can make it.  (xcskier54@comcast.net)  
April 2025 Board Meeting Highlights

Here are some highlights from our March 18, 2025 Board meeting:
1 - $5000 available for donations.
2 - Robert Hanson with ALMAS at Two Rivers HS was very appreciative of the extra money we had for him this year.
3 - Next Loaves & Fishes are April 29th at St. Matt's.  (3:30 to 6:30)
4 - Spring yard clean April 26 8:30
5 - July 2nd meeting moved to a social at the Copperfield.
6 - Prior Lake Music Fest fundraiser still open for registration.
7 - Our Rotary District is asking for facts on volunteer hours and donations.
8 - President Elect Jennifer Giovinazzo is attending district training for president.
9 - Next board meeting is via zoom on June 17 at 7:30a.m.

We meet at 7:30 Wednesday mornings at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church located at 2035 Charlton Road, Sunfish Lake, MN 55118. Join us for a continental breakfast with good coffee followed by an engaging program.  On even number months, we meet at 7:30a at the Copperfield restaurant in Mendota Heights.  (e.g. first Wed in Aug)
