Here's more important information that you need to know...
1. This week, we will be wrapping presents for our Adopt-A-Families from Neighbor's Inc. at our regular meeting. Please bring wrapping paper, gift wrap-size boxes, ribbons and tape to the meeting. The shoppers will bring the un-wrapped presents and then we all spend our regular meeting wrapping them up with pretty little bows for our adopted families in need. It takes some longer than others to wrap, so that's why we take the whole meeting to get it done...
2. Dec. 17 is the best meeting of the year! It's our annual White Elephant gift exchange. Please bring your best Oh-you-shouldn't-have gift all wrapped up in disguise. It can be a re-gift from your Aunt Peg (or my Aunt Peg), last year's white elephant or a new cheap gift you find in the dollar aisle. We will then pick numbers to see who gets the privilege of selecting a "gift" first. The second person can then either choose to take the first person's present or go to the pile and select a new present. The third person can take the first or second person's gift or go back to the pile. If at any time your gift is taken, you get to select a new one. (or steal someone else's) It's a "meeting" full of laughter, fun and great Kodak moments!
3. We will NOT be having our regular Wed. morning meeting on Dec. 24 or Dec. 31.
4. Even though we won't be having a regular meeting on Dec. 31, we WILL be serving at Loaves & Fishes on Tuesday, Dec. 30. Please sign up with Bud if you can help. What a great way to end the year - by giving back and serving others!
5. In January each year, we help take inventory at Neighbors, Inc. Bud will soon circulate details and a sign-up sheet.
