We had a Board meeting last week and here's what we did:
We reserved $3,500 from our budget for ALMAS to use toward achieving their increased graduation rates and other goals
Approved new member Cassandra Bautista! She joins the corporate membership of LeVander, Gillen & Miller along with Bridget and Kori (go Team LeVander!)
Approved re-initiating the District's Literacy Project, spearheaded by Alan
Decided to discuss going back to in-person meetings at Southview at the next Board meeting in Feb. (Southview is closed until April)
Re-connected with the School District to confirm we will hold our Ethics Day in the Fall of 2021
Announced that Susan will Chair Rotary Roses (with mentoring help from Scott and Dave H.). Roses will be delivered on April 21. Minimum sales will likely be less, although we may offer incentives for people to consider donating roses to nursing homes, meals on wheels, health care workers.... Stay tuned for more details.
