We have a Board meeting THIS week, Tuesday, March 19, 7:30 a.m. at Perkins. Not sure what's cooking on the agenda, but I'm sure it will be fascinating!
IT'S TIME TO START SELLING ROSES! Here is theORDER SIGN UP FORM. If you need help on how to solicit orders, HERE is a handy flyer that explains how great our Club is and how we use our donated funds. You can post this flyer next to the Order Sign-Up Form and watch how many people sign up! It's really an easy sell. As always, Rose Delivery Day is conveniently held on Administrative Assistant's Day, which is on Wed., April 24. And remember that we do not have a meeting on that Wed. so that you can pick up and deliver your roses. Jackie is our Roses Chair and she needs all orders by April 11. Go start selling!
On April 11-12 at the Rochester Mayo Civic Center, our District is hosting the 2019 District 5960 Conference of Clubs. Keynote speakers are:
Dr. Robert Veninga, Professor Emeritus, School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota, and award-winning author on leadership, organizational innovation and resilience.
Young Voices of Rotary-Youth Exchange, Rotaract, ROTEX, and Young Leaders on how Rotary embraces their service and participation.
Patty Wetterling, Advocate of children's safety and chair of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
A lot of special events are planned, including a trolley ride to local Rotarians' homes for dinner! These types of events are always a lot more fun than you think they are going to be and are a great way to get to know other Rotarians in our District, bring back ideas for our Club and get out of town for a night! If you want to go, please let Pres. Bridget know. The Club will pay for registration and your overnight stay. It's worth it!
