Meghan Bernard, ISD197's Sustainability & Wellness Manager, talked to us about the district's sustainability projects. The mission is to responsibly steward their resources and environment and share these values with their students and community. Megan gave us several interesting examples of projects happening in these focus areas: Energy Efficiency & Resource Conservation; Student LiveGreen Clubs; Material & Waste Management; Land Management Practices; and Community & Government Collaboration. It was fun seeing all the sustainability projects that ISD197 has going! Thanks Meghan for a super interesting presentation!

We meet at 7:30 Wednesday mornings at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church located at 2035 Charlton Road, Sunfish Lake, MN 55118. Join us for a continental breakfast with good coffee followed by an engaging program. On even number months, we meet at 7:30a at the Copperfield restaurant in Mendota Heights.
