Last week's speaker was supposed to be our 5960 District Governor.  However she couldn't make it.  As luck would have it, Kevin Hendricks was going to give a three minute presentation on the West St. Paul Reader (WSPR).  Kevin ended up being our program!  Kevin last spoke to us on January 11, 2023.  And as I remember we had a large snow storm and only 6 of us were at the January presentation.  Kevin is the editor of the WSPR.  He told us about interesting things happening locally in West St. Paul, including the mural for the outside of Moreland Elemetary School.  For more interesting reads about WSP, check out WestStPaulReader.com.  Sue Hanson liked this so much, she signed up for a year's subscription which is $3.00/month.  The district governor proclaimed last Wednesday as Alan Ruvelson Day in recognition of his 40 years in Rotary.  Co-prez Don mentioned some of the Rotary history Alan has seen including when women were admitted to Rotary in 1987!  Congratulations Alan and thanks Kevin!
