The District Governor is Coming
The District Governor will be our speaker this week!!  DG Ed Marek will talk about Rotary International's theme, District 5960's initiatives and I'm sure he will talk about how the pandemic is impacting Clubs here and around the world.  It will be fascinating to hear about how other Clubs, Districts and Rotary International is adapting.  Please plan to join us on Wed. morning.  And if you're on the Board, you get an extra treat of a personal meeting with the District Governor immediately following the regular Club meeting.  We can ask him all sorts of questions and let him know how the District can help us move forward in this crazy world.
Board Meeting
There's a Board meeting this week, Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. and here's what we'll be talking about:
  • Resignations: Sadly both Jackie Paul and Ed Malloy have submitted their resignations.  360 Communities has reevaluated priorities and apparently we drew the short straw. Ed feels guilty for not participating and decided it was time to make it official.  We thank both of them for their hard work and dedication to the Club.  Ed was a founding member and his years of service are remarkable.  Jackie was a young sparkplug who brought enthusiasm and thoughtfulness to our Club. Both will be missed.
  • Adopt a Family - we need a plan
  • December meetings - how many are we going to have? We could have all 5, or we could have 3 or something in between (that's 4 for those of you who think math is hard)
