ISD197 Superintendent, Dr. Peter Olson-Skog, was our speaker last week!  After a quick informational video, Peter told us about some of the good things happening around the district.  He introduced us to Dr. Jess Cabak, who will be the principal at Two Rivers High School starting on July 1st.  Dr Cabak was hired by the current principal, Dr. Al Johnson.  Come to our meeting next week and greet the two doctors!  Peter mentioned that the Robotics Team went to the word championship this year. Other district happenings: electives have been expanded at the middle schools; personal finance has been added at the high school; 20 new clubs formed.  And much more!  Check out www.isd197.org.  The school district is loved by the community.  Class room sizes haven't changed for the last 16 years.  This was a very uplifting presentation.  Thanks Rotarian Peter (pictured below) and for coordinating speakers in April!

We meet at 7:30 Wednesday mornings at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church located at 2035 Charlton Road, Sunfish Lake, MN 55118. Join us for a continental breakfast with good coffee followed by an engaging program.  On even number months, we meet at 7:30a at the Copperfield restaurant in Mendota Heights.  (e.g. first Wed in Aug)
