A big thanks to our volunteers who helped with the Great Halloween Get Together, as well as everyone who brought in candy.  The estimate is that we contributed to the tooth decay of approximately 3,000 kids and adults!

 

November is Rotary Foundation Month.  What does that mean, you ask?  Well it is the month that Rotary has designated for all clubs to educate its members about the Rotary Foundation, how it works, what it does, how donating to the Foundation benefits everyone - the donor, the investment and the recipient of the funds!  The Rotary Foundation is one of the best run non-profits in the world!  Susan Hommes, our Foundation Chair, will give a brief commercial about the Foundation at an upcoming meeting. You may recall that the beneficiary of a portion of our Moonstruck proceeds was dedicated to Vision Loss Resources.  Mary formally presented the $8,000 check to Kate Grathwol, CEO of Vision Loss Resources. Great job to everyone who helped make Moonstruck another success!
