1. Yes, we are having a meeting this week. You will get to know our very own Ryan Hetland and Jean Helfman. (Your newsletter editor will be absent, but please don't take this personally. I will be in a deer stand with my 11-year-old.)
2. We are serving at Loaves & Fishes (click for details) on Thursday, Dec. 4. Be there at 3:00 to cook or 4:30 to serve.
3. We will be wrapping presents for our Adopt-A-Families from Neighbor's Inc. at our regular meeting on Wed., Dec. 10. Please bring wrapping paper, boxes, ribbons and tape to the meeting. The shoppers will have shopped and bring the un-wrapped presents. We then spend our regular meeting wrapping them up with pretty little bows for families in need.
4. Dec. 17 is the best meeting of the year! It's our annual White Elephant gift exchange. Please bring your best Oh-you-shouldn't-have gift all wrapped up in disguise. We will then pick numbers to see who gets the privilege of selecting a "gift" first. The second person can then either choose to take the first person's present or go to the pile and select a new present. The third person can take the first or second person's gift or go back to the pile. If at any time your gift is taken, you get to select a new one. (or steal someone else's) It's a "meeting" full of laughter, fun and great Kodak moments!
