Fun things we are doing in Dec...

We were recently awarded a $9,000 District Grant for our Heartline Maternity Center Renovation Project in Haiti.  With the District Grant, our Club's committed funds, as well as contributions from the Rotary Clubs in Lakeville, SSP/IGH, Roseville, Prior Lake, Northfield, Woodbury, Arden Hills/Shoreview and Shrewsbury, MA, we have fully funded the $29,000 project. We are very excited to see the construction underway so that we can show the difference we can make in the world!  Here are some current pictures to show what the facility looks like today.  We expect construction to start soon and then we will be able to show you the "after" pictures... Stay tuned!

THIS WEEK'S MEETING: Dec. 9 - Instead of a speaker, this week we will be wrapping presents for our Adopted Families!  Bring wrapping paper, scissors, tape and gift tags to the meeting.  Shoppers will bring the purchased presents for the families and we will make them look pretty!  If you have giant boxes that we can use to put the presents in for transportation, that would be really helpful.  If you're all thumbs when it comes to wrapping, don't worry about it - you can supervise! Here is a picture from last year.  Not sure which one is supervising...
