We have been asked to volunteer from 3:00 to 6:30. An email will come out asking if you can attend. If attending respond with the times and number of people you're bringing. If we don't have enough help, Mel the coordinator has access to several more people. I hope to see you next Thursday, sometime. Thanks!

Farfum Ladroma came by last week to talk about the Peace Corps from the Midwest to Tonga. The Peace Corps is a respected volunteer program that has empowered Americans to serve communities around the world since 1961. Volunteers work alongside local people on projects involving education, health, agriculture, environmental conservation, and economic development. Farfum was in Tonga for 2 years helping teach English.
The three official goals of the Peace Corps are:
1. Help the people of interested countries meet their need for trained men and women.
2. Help promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.
3. Help promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.
Thank you Farfum...
