Our Rotary calendar starts over July 1 and that means we have a new President AND a new schedule for Speaker duty! The Speaker Assignment committee has created the New 2017-2018 Speaker Assignment Schedule! You can find the list on the right side of the page, since my links never work in the body of a story... Please check it out because if you're not paying attention - you might have the month of July. If your month has 5 Wednesdays, never fear - contact the Vocational Chair and she will schedule a speaker for one of those meetings for you. You just need to coordinate with her so she knows which meeting is the speaker-less meeting. The Board Member list is also on the side of the page (because that link didn't work either) and all contact information is on the website under the Membership List on the right-hand column. Here are the Speaker Assignment steps: 1. Once you have a speaker, you need to contact me (newsletter person) and let me know the date, the speaker, the topic and whether or not they need technology. 2. Please coordinate with your teammates so you are working together to fill your month. If you need to know who your teammates are, come to a meeting and read their nametags. Again, all member contact information is on the website. 3. If you want to switch months, you need to do the switch with someone else and then let me know so I can fix the list. 4. If it is your month and you secured the speaker, you are responsible for the prayer before the meal. If you don't like to pray in public (which is totally fine) please ask someone in advance to cover for you. There are people who can pray on the fly! That's it! Good luck!
