1. We will be discussing the progress of Ethics Day (Nov. 16)
2. We will be discussing the Henry Sibley ALMAS Club's request for $3,550 to help fund their annual budget for t-shirts, sweatshirts, food and a nutrition program
3. We will discuss how our ALMAS scholarship recipients are decided
4. Other good and fun stuff

Great Halloween Get Together
CANDY!  Every Halloween on Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m., the City of South St. Paul closes off Marie Avenue from around 3rd Ave. to 7th Ave. and asks clubs, organizations, local businesses to hand out candy to about 1,000 trick-or-treaters in a nice, safe, enclosed and quick environment!  For many years, we have set up shop and handed out candy! There are 2 ways you can help:

1. You can come on Halloween and hand out candy! It's only for 2 hours and you can be home in time to take care of your OWN trick-or-treaters!  or
2. You can bring candy to the meetings and we will make sure it is appropriately distributed. (or give me $$ and I'll buy the candy)

I NEED CANDY!  Please bring in your candy to the weekly meetings. There are only 2 meetings left in the month and I have 2 tiny bags of candy.

Ethics Day - Nov. 16
We will be hosting our annual Ethics Day event on Wed., Nov. 16 at Thompson Park for 60 Henry Sibley high school Juniors and Seniors.  The goal is to take student leaders and teach them to think about the every-day ethical decisions that they encounter so that when they are faced with a tough decision in real life, they will make the right decisions.  If you would like to help out for the day or half-day or just to buy food, see Greg Stone. If you would like to facilitate a table of kids, see Greg Stone. If you would like to sponsor a table ($100), see Greg Stone.  In fact, you should all just see Greg Stone.  We will not have a regular Rotary meeting that day so that anyone can participate if they are able to do so.
