Ben Kusch gave us a very interesting presentation on what his does with the three school districts of:  Inver Grove Heights; South St. Paul; and West St. Paul-Mendota Heights Eagan!  Ben is currently the Lead Designer of the TriDistrict Career and College Readiness Initiative (TCCRI) & Director of TriDistrict CAPS.  Ben has over 27 years of experience in education.  He was a teacher and principal and helped with the design and construction of both Farmington & Shakopee High Schools.  TCCRI is a unique partnership which is a collaborative effort to guarantee that all students of South St. Paul Secondary, Simley and Two Rivers High Schools graduate with a plan for their "next step" and has the skills, knowledge, attributes and attitudes to be successful, where their chosen pathway takes them.  CAPS (Center for Advanced Professional Studies) are courses that are part of the TCCRI and are programs found locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. CAPS is a widely recognized network of schools and profession-based learning programs that place student learning in context.  Our network has 95+ programs across the US, North America and abroad.  Our four TriDistrict CAPS programs are:  The HEALTHCARE program; TRANSPORTATION & SKILLED TRADES; BUSINESS & ENTREPRENEURSHIP; and In COMPUTER SCIENCE & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.  For more information check out www.careercollegeready.org.  Thanks for presenting, Ben (pictured below)!

1 - Rose Sale, Beer & Wine Raffle and donations totaled over $10,000.  Thank you to all who participated.  We now have some money to give away.

2 - Approved donations of $1,000 to Neighbor's Inc. and $2500 to ALMAS and reserved $1000 for a Two River's scholarship.

3 - Ethic's Day is Nov 26 at St. Annes.  We are hosting 60 students from Two River's High School.

4 - Next Loaves & Fishes is December 5th at St. Matt's.  (3:30 to 6:30)

5-  No meeting day following Ethic's Day because it's the day before Thanksgiving.

6 - David Miller, Susan Hommes and Ben Kusch will shop for Neighbor’s Holiday Gift program.  We have a delivery date of the afternoon on Nov 27th.

7 - Christmas and New Years fall on a Wednesday.  Cancelling those meetings.

8 - Next board meeting is via zoom on Dec 17 at 7:30a.m. Notify Dave Hanson if you'd like to attend.

Prez Val Namen and David Miller are heading up our club's Fundraising Committee.  Please let them know if you have any fundraising ideas and/or would like to join their committee!

The board would like to have local businesses present a 3 minute introduction to their company at each meeting.

Please let Dave Hanson know if you have someone and he'll add them to the meeting schedule.

One 3 minute presentation at each meeting would be the goal.
