Our speaker last week was Elizabeth Lamin, Assistant Ramsey County Attorney.  She talked to us about substance disorder, drugs and the criminal justice system, links between drugs and abuse/crime, and drug courts.  Here's some not-so-fun facts:  alcohol is involved in over 40% of all crimes;  60% of the people arrested are under the influence of a controlled substance;  and 85% of the people in prison have substance abuse disorder.  Whew!  Thanks Elizabeth for coming to talk with us today.

3 - Sending $500.00 to Northern Dakota County Yellow Ribbon effort.

4 - Discussed results of SSP/IGH survey.

5 - Next Loaves & Fishes:  August 4 and August 30th.

6 - Don McCall will share his 2022-2023 board members as his year begins on July 1, 2022.

7 - David Miller is following up with Peter on Ethics Day for next year.

8 - Exploring the possibility of Moonstruck fundraiser in October.
