The West St. Paul-Mendota Heights Rotary Club's annual glowball charity golf tournament and silent auction is Sept. 6 at Southview Country Club. All funds raised at the 23rd annual Moonstruck Charity Golf Tournament and Silent Auction, chaired by Bud Shaver, Chief of the West St. Paul Police Department, support charities and nonprofits.
The tournament is a chance for teams of four golfers compete in a nine-hole scramble of regulation golf, teeing off at dusk. The scramble is played with glow-in-the-dark balls. Cost to register a foursome is $280 and includes dinner, golf and access to the silent auction. Dinner only is available for $40. Registration forms to golf, attend the dinner, sponsor a hole, or make a donation to the silent auction are available at this link: Entry Form.
In addition to the tournament, other highlights from the event include:
Wall of Wine Raffle: In addition to golf and dinner, raffle tickets are being sold for the Wall of Wine. Thanks to the generosity of Booze Mart, the first place winner of the Wall of Wine will receive 30 bottles of wine and a wine chiller. Second place is 10 bottles of wine. Tickets are $10 each.
