Charter Night Event
We will be having our Annual Charter Night Event (it's our 28th Birthday) one week from Tuesday, on Feb. 20.  Last year we had such a great time packing meals and getting to know each other better while sipping the occasional beverage, we decided to do it again!  We will be going to Blackstack Brewing in St. Paul (See the Events Calendar for details and directions) for a potluck and then we will pack meals for Harvest Pack for William to distribute to those in need in our neck of the woods!  How great will that be?  Please put it on your calendars and this is a bring a friend, family member, co-worker, potential new member event so the more the merrier!  More details about specific times and who is bringing what (we don't all need to bring a hot dish or plate of cookies) are still being formulated so stay tuned!  This is a great full Club participation event so please try to attend!
13th Annual Community Forum
The St. Paul Sunrise Rotary Club, in cooperation with the Minneapolis City of Lakes and Woodbury Clubs, is sponsoring the 13th Annual Community Forum "Beyond the Political Polarization: Finding Common Ground for the Common Good" on Thursday, April 12 from 7:15-9:15 a.m. at the Town and Country Club in St. Paul.  These community forum programs have been fantastic and are highly recommended by Alan from our Club.  Click this link if you are interested in attending: LINK.
District Conference
The District Conference "Conference of Clubs 2018" is coming to Mystic Lake April 19-20.  The event will kick off on Thursday night and then have all-day programs and speakers on Friday. It's a great way to connect to other Rotary Clubs, hear really motivating speakers and find new ideas on attracting new members, fundraising events and more!  The Club will pay your registration fee so there's really no reason not to go (just let Pres. Dave know you're interested so he can tell Bob so Bob can write the check - otherwise Bob gets miffed, especially during tax season. He's a bit testy)!  Go to the District Website www.rotary5960.org and click on the Events tab for more information.
