Last Wednesday Evening at Susan Hommes' House

Wine & Beer Fundraiser happening now!
Wine & Beer raffle fundraiser going on now!  Raffle tickets are available from Bob Gullick at meetings now through mid November.  The tickets are $10 each.  Beer raffle winner gets a Wall of Beer.  There are two winners for the wine raffle.  Please bring wine and six packs of beer to any upcoming meeting. The drawing will be on our November 19th meeting at the Copperfield restaurant.
Loaves & Fishes served up twice last week!
Good ole fashion fun with purpose!
ALMAS students from Two Rivers HS were a huge help serving 325 meals at Loaves and Fishes Tuesday evening! Feels good to do good! Thanks to Rob Hanson for sending the students!  Your students are wonderful!
261 meals were dished up last Thursday.  Enjoy the pictures.
Worth Another Mention:  From Rotarian Don McCall
“Long before sunrise on Wednesday September 24th, Don journeyed to the Prior Lake Rotary Club to collect a check for our club’s volunteer efforts at the Prior Lake Music Festival held this past July.  It was a great meeting hearing from 35 different volunteer groups as they sharing how they will use their portion of the funds.  Thanks to those who volunteered from our club, our club received $1,044.  The event distributed a total of $116,861 distributed to the various volunteer organization!  Next summer’s music festival will take place on July 10th and 11th and hopefully our club can join the 2,000 volunteers needed next summer.”

Fundraising Committee needs ideas!
Rotarian Jon is heading up our club's Fundraising Committee.  Please let him know if you have any fundraising ideas and/or would like to join his committee!
Something new to meetings
The board would like to have local businesses present a 3 minute introduction to their company at each meeting.
Please let Dave Hanson know if you have someone and he'll add them to the meeting schedule.
One 3 minute presentation at each meeting would be the goal.

We meet at 7:30 Wednesday mornings at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church located at 2035 Charlton Road, Sunfish Lake, MN 55118. Join us for a continental breakfast with good coffee followed by an engaging program.  On even number months, we meet at 7:30a at the Copperfield restaurant in Mendota Heights.  (e.g. first Wed in Aug)
