Upcoming Events
We have several fun things in the near future:
  1. Tues., Nov. 21 - Board Meeting - regular stuff. - HEY THAT'S TOMORROW!!
  2. Thurs., Dec. 7 - Loaves & Fishes - see calendar. Need help. Please come. Please stay through clean-up. Tired of hearing Bob tell woes of cleaning up all by himself.
  3. Wed., Dec. 13 - Gift Wrapping - more details to come but after our shoppers shop for our Neighbors' Inc. adopted families, we will wrap the Christmas presents at our regular meeting.  It's good practice!
  4. Wed., Dec. 20 - While Elephant - start looking for that oh-you-shouldn't-have present to bring to Rotary for our White Elephant Gift Exchange. It's a hoot!
  5. No Board meeting in December! We will take a month off...  We will resume our regular Board meetings in January at a place TBD.

November is Foundation Month
November is Rotary Foundation Month.  What does that mean, you ask?  Well it is the month that Rotary has designated for all clubs to educate its members about the Rotary Foundation, how it works, what it does, how donating to the Foundation benefits everyone - the donor, the investment and the recipient of the funds!  The Rotary Foundation is one of the best run non-profits in the world!  Susan Hommes, our Foundation Chair, will give a brief commercial about the Foundation at an upcoming meeting. In case you get really inspired, here is a Foundation Pledge Form you can complete and give to Susan or Bob.
Happy Thanksgiving!
