I will leave it to Mike to give the final breakdown (math is hard)
Please send out thank you cards to anyone you invited, who donated, who bought a wine raffle ticket but didn't win... Pre-printed cards are available at the meetings.
Please recruit sponsors for the Ethics Seminar this November
The Club again will host an all-day ethics seminar on Wednesday, October 29 at Thompson Park. The program, for 60 formal and informal student leaders from Henry Sibley High School, is a partnership between the Club, the school, local businesses, and St. Thomas.
Please download the Ethics Table Sponsors Letter and invite area businesses to help make this event a success. More details are in the letter, which is available on the club homepage. Once on the homepage, scroll down to the far right-hand side to the "Homepage Download File" area. The letter is at the very bottom.
Here are some things that you need to know about some upcoming service events:
Adopt a Highway is Saturday, Oct. 11 - we need helpers so Bud isn't stuck out there alone looking like he is performing Sentence to Service all by himself.
Great Halloween Get Together is Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:00-7:00. South St. Paul closes off a few blocks of Marie Avenue just for trick or treating. We hand out candy at a table to help promote our Club. Please bring bags of candy to the meetings so we can stock up for the 2,500 trick or treaters we expect to greet on Halloween. A sign up sheet will be circulated in the near future if you want to help during the event. Costumes are optional but welcome.
