Board meeting Recap
We had a Board meeting last week and here's the recap:
  • We approved the resignation of Ann Averill from 360 Communities.  We will miss her.
  • We approved a $1,000 donation to the Northern Star Council and with our donation, we will ask them to consider partnering with our club's service activities.
  • We approved a $1,000 donation to the LOOP, a free circulator bus that assists seniors with being able to continue shopping for essentials during the massive construction project on Robert Street.
Heartline Maternity Center Project - Port au Prince, Haiti
Here's one of things we were able to help accomplish with our $29,000 contribution to Heartline Maternity Center in Haiti. Our contributions purchased certain mechanical items that will allow the Maternity Center to expand and complete a major renovation of its facility so that it can serve a larger population with better equipment. Before and After:
