Board meeting last week
We had a Board meeting last week and here's what we did:
  • Established our Goals (to make the District happy)
    1. Annual Giving to RI at $50/member (this is a goal that we would like each member to contribute $50 to RI this year)
    2. Polio Plus $1,000 (this comes from Club funds)
    3. Fast for Hope $400 (this comes from Club funds)
    4. Membership goal of 46 (currently 44)
  • Discussed our donation policy, which we may consider tweaking
  • Discussed the need for members to go to other Rotary Clubs to raise $9,000 in funds for our District Grant.  We have made donations to help other Rotary Clubs fund their projects.  If you know anyone in the following clubs, please consider asking them to return the favor:
    • Arden Hills
    • St. Paul
    • Woodbury
    • Roseville
  • Noted that due to District dues being raised, member dues will be raised to $35/quarter beginning now
  • Agreed to donate $550 to OneVoice to offset transportation costs to help them take their anti-bullying message into schools
