BOARD MEETING. There was a Board meeting last week and here's what we did:
Approved the membership application of Mark McNeill, new City Administrator in MH (it was a thorough background investigation but word on the street is that Connie Roehrich will vouch for him - we're going to hold her to it)
Approved a $1,000 donation request to Can Do Canines, sponsored by Marv Karth. The organization provides assistance dogs to people with disabilities. The fundraising effort, with the support of other Rotary Clubs and a matching district grant from District 5950 will allow the organization to purchase a new van for transporting the dogs. We will have a speaker from the organization in June (and they will bring a human too).
This is Rotary Rose pay your money to Scott time! Scott anxiously awaits getting your Rotary Rose money so please pay him as soon as possible. He will tally the results of the rose sales and hopefully tell us how much we made next week!! Oh - the anticipation - the excitement - the suspense!!
