Here are some exciting things that are coming up in Nov. & Dec.:
Adopt A Family: Our shoppers are out shopping (or will be shortly) and then on Dec. 2 we will actually meet live and in person at Southview to wrap the presents! They will have tables spaced out and you can bring your own wrapping supplies. Just like the good ol' days!
Loaves and Fishes on Dec. 3 and again on Dec. 29. For real.
White Elephant Gift Exchange on Dec. 16: Again, we will actually meet live and in person at Southview to have our White Elephant Party! SO MUCH FUN!
No official speaker-type meetings on Dec. 23 and 30. William might decide to host a Zoom meeting, but I didn't tell him that until just now, so he doesn't know that yet. He might, he might not. He's the boss.
Here are some important links to help you find out more about our Club and your place in it:
Our Rotary Webpage: www.clubrunner.ca/8700 That's actually a thing. You can see the calendar, upcoming speakers, a few old stories. Then, you go to Member Sign in at the top of the page and enter your login and password and you can go to our member area to find the directory and other interesting things. Wander around. It's quite fascinating.
Speaker Assignments. We ask our members to get speakers and you're assigned to a particular month. Check out the list here. You work with your other people that month, find speakers, and send me the information about them so I can put it on the website.
Potential speakers. If you're stumped on getting a speaker, look at this list and see if there are any interesting topics.
