It is with a heavy heart that we remember our friend and fellow Rotarian Nancy Desmond who passed away last week.  These are the only pictures I have of Sue and Nancy, serving at Loaves & Fishes a few years ago, before her diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

November is Rotary Foundation Month.  What does that mean, you ask?  Well it is the month that Rotary has designated for all clubs to educate its members about the Rotary Foundation, how it works, what it does, how donating to the Foundation benefits everyone - the donor, the investment and the recipient of the funds!  The Rotary Foundation is one of the best run non-profits in the world!  Susan Hommes, our Foundation Chair, will give a brief commercial about the Foundation at an upcoming meeting.
